As we all know, he's like Marmite.

You love him or hate him, and that said, opinion can change from one day to the next.
So, how do you solve a problem like Mario Balotelli?

The Italian International has come under recent scrutiny for this stamp on Scott Parker during Spurs' 3-2 loss at the Etihad

Balotelli is a tale of two men. One, the philanthropistic gentleman, who hands out cash in the city centre of Manchester for no reason and helps out bullied schoolchildren, the other, a thuggish brute when involved in football - stamps, darts, sulks.... You name it, Mario's done it. Mancini seems happy enough to leave the whirlwind nature of Balotelli to it's own devices, as long as he keeps scoring and pushing them ever closer to the title. With the recent news that Balotelli will serve a 4 match suspension in retrospect to the Parker stamp, and with a disciplinary record as long as his arm, how long will Mancini 'look the other way' to the talented striker's wrongdoings?

What are your thoughts on the Italian?

I will probably get abuse for this but he is exactly the player the Premier League needs.
He reminds me of a young Eric Cantona in some respects.
Only time will tell if he lives up to the hype around him though...

I think he is a bit of a guilty pleasure. You never know what to expect from him when he goes out on the pitch.
Although I do think that people are a bit harsh on him, the stamp on Scott Parker was terrible.
No matter what Mancini or anyone does I don't think that he will change. I just hope that he lives up to his potential.

Exactly. And Cantona was a cunt.

Yes but he was a colourful character much like Mario and also had bags of potential.
Only time will tell if he lives up to that potential. Smile
